An outdoor space the big and little kids can enjoy.

The Maribyrnong City Council reached out to upgrade an existing outdoor space into an enjoyable play space and picnic area. The park aimed to cater to younger children and parents of the local area, who made up a significant portion of the local demographic.

Key Features

To bring this space to life, we installed a new playground which will undoubtedly be the focal point of the new area. In addition, we placed natural custom made timber logs the children can use as walkways and whatever their imagination makes of them! We also ensured that there are plenty of open areas with nice soft grass for long afternoon picnics and plenty of natural greenery, which will only look better with time. 

Key Solutions.

As far as challenges come, this project certainly wasn’t our hardest to date. We had good access to the area and a reasonable budget to make sure we brought the space to life exactly as planned. However, this certainly doesn’t mean it was a project we aren’t as proud of. Plenty of hard work goes into each and every project we complete. 

We believe in quality craftsmanship that stands the test of time. It’s certainly not the easiest (or cheapest for us) path forward, but the end result is always worth it!

Project Outcomes

In the end, the community around Pritchard’s Reserve in Braybrook were treated to a highly functional outdoor space that caters to not only the little kids but the big kids too! The expansive grassy area is perfect for a picnic, and the kids will undoubtedly enjoy the engaging new playground. The overall investment from here from the Maribyrnong City Council is sure to be one that will provide joy for the local community for years to come.
